The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) is delighted to celebrate the opening of via: COLOR with a public reception at the Betty Mae Kramer Gallery and Music Room on August 3, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. via: COLOR features works by Montgomery County-based artists Roslyn Cambridge, Julee Dickerson-Thompson, and Marta Lopez Teigeiro.

Curated by Heloisa Escudaro, this exhibition explores color as a method of expression and a means for deep engagement. From the curator: Summertime is a period of vibrant pigments and intense saturation. In celebration of the spectrum of hues this season brings us, via: COLOR presents works by three artists who employ color and textural vistas to elicit resonant connections with their viewers.

“AHCMC is thrilled to showcase works by three Montgomery County based artists who approach color through inventive and captivating modalities,” says Suzan Jenkins, CEO of the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County. “Roslyn Cambridge, Julee Dickerson-Thompson, and Marta Teireirgo each employ color in a distinctive manner and bring a unique voice to their work. We look forward to seeing how individuals engage with via: COLOR this summer.”

via: COLOR will be on view from August 3 – October 15, 2022. The opening reception is free and open to the public. Tickets can be reserved at:
