Montgomery County Council has approved a historic $9 million appropriation for Arts and Humanities Council grants, administration, and COVID-19 relief funding. The resolution for FY21 is as follows:
- General Operating Support II: $3,374,941 (flat over FY20)
- General Operating Support I, Project Grants, Individual Artist/Scholar Grants, Advancement Grants: $1,691,483
- AHCMC Administration: $556,735 (flat over FY20)
- Public Arts Trust: $190,000
- COVID-19 Relief Funding for Organizations: $3,000,000
- COVID-19 Relief Funding for Individuals: $250,000
