  • Must be an existing grantee of AHCMC in the small, mid-size, or large categories
  • Must be a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization registered with the Office of the Secretary as per the 
    Maryland Solicitations Act

Project Guidelines:

  • Projects must be between $1,000 and $10,000.
  • Projects can be no longer than 90 days.
  • applies a total of 12% in Fees to all projects.
    • Each organization will receive 88% of the total amount raised.
  • Only 501(c)3 organizations are able to fundraise through
  • You can fundraise past your goal, but a match will only be applied up to your set goal as funding is available.
  • The Arts and Humanities Council will be the nonprofit of record for all donations and will send all IRS Acknowledgement Letters to donors; however, each donation is designated to the project's fundraising organization, and organizations will be able to download all of the contact information for their donors and are encouraged to thank them and steward the relationship.
  • Organizations may not raise money for a project that has already been completed.
    • Projects cannot offset already incurred debt such as a new floor that has already been installed or a production that has already started performances.
  • Matching funds are applied in real time.When a gift is made to your project the match is applied to your project goal Total at that time.
    • Example: If you receive a $100 donation--and there are matching funds available at a $1-to-$1 match--$200 will be applied to your project. $100 for the donation and $100 for the match.
