Formed in 1992, this is a non-profit organization of about 375 members with voting membership reserved for California Indian traditional basketweavers and associate membership available to the general public. CIBA maintains a mailing list of basketweavers, publishes a newsletter, and hosts an annual basketweavers' gathering.

CITYFOLK
A traditional and ethnic arts organization in Dayton, Ohio, CITYFOLK showcases a wide range of artists reflecting the rich, cultural diversity of the community and from around the world. It sponsors music and dance events, hosts the National Folk Festival in Dayton, presents film and theater, and conducts educational workshops.

The Fund for Folk Culture
Founded in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1991, the Fund for Folk Culture (FFC) has awarded over 4.25 million dollars in nearly 450 grants to more than 375 organizations and a small number of individuals in 46 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Republic of Palau. A tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the FFC adds significant intermediary value to funds provided by private foundations, government agencies, and individual contributors.
