Clearinghouse
of Image Databases
Is an online directory of image databases housed on a gopher
server at the University of Arizona Library. It was created
in July 1994 by Stuart Glogoff, Assistant Dean for Library
Information Systems at the University of Arizona, who continues
to maintain it.

This is a searchable index of the Digital Tradition Folk Song
Database (October 1996 version), containing over 6000 songs.
Human
Studies Film Archives (Smithsonian Institution) Guide to Library
and Archival Exhibitions on the Web
Devoted to collecting, preserving, documenting and disseminating
a broad range of ethnographic and anthropological moving image
materials. A catalog of the films in the archive is presented
here. You may retrieve listings by broad geographic area,
by ethnic group, or by subject. Alternatively, you may search
the database by word.

earliest films to the latest releases.
The Union
List of Artist Names Browser
The ULAN currently contains some 200,000 names representing
approximately 100,000 individual artists (or "creators,"
including performance artists, decorative artists, etc.) and
architects, cumulated from nine participating Getty documentation
projects. Getty Information Institute Vocabulary Program editors
have manually added approximately 200 records to the database
(indicated by the acronym VO).
