Betty Mae Kramer Gallery Volunteers
Passionate about the visual arts?  Volunteer in our gallery!  We are looking for outgoing individuals to lead tours and facilitate conversations in the Betty Mae Kramer Gallery, located within the Silver Spring Civic Building.  Gallery experience or a background in the arts preferred.

Are you knowledgeable about what’s happening in local arts and culture and interested in volunteering from home?  Help us scour the web for job announcements, calls to artists, internship opportunities and more for our monthly “Jobs and Opps” and "News & Views" newsletters.  This is an invaluable resource for Montgomery County’s arts and humanities professionals.  Tech-savvy individuals with internet research skills and experience with Mail Chimp needed.

Get involved and join a committee!

AHCMC Marketing Committee

Purpose: To raise awareness of and participation in the arts and humanities in Montgomery County. The committee meets monthly from September through June. Contact Joe Frandoni if you’d like to join the committee. Meetings are held at committee member locations generally between 9:30 and 11:30. FY14 Meeting dates:  Nov. 14, Feb. 6, March 14, April 24, and May 22

AHCMC Advocacy Committee

Purpose: To strategize advocacy messages, communications, campaigns and meeting with elected officials at the state, local and national level. The committee meets between December and May mostly from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Contact Suzan Jenkins if you’d like to join the committee. FY14 Meetings: TBD
