Mayorga Coffee Arts and Humanities Blend

At our office, coffee is what gets us to do & go. That's why we've teamed up with Mayorga Coffee to create the specialty Arts and Humanities Blend! 15% of the proceeds go to AHCMC so we can continue to provide quality workshops, classes and other services to Montgomery County's arts and humanities organizations.

Taste the blend at Mayorga's Takoma Park, Shady Grove hospital and Kings Farm locations!

Mondays in March at Mayorga

More about the Mayorga-AHCMC partnership

AHCMC and Mayorga’s multifaceted partnership includes a number of firsts:

  • AHCMC is the first cultural agency in the County and region to have its own coffee blend. The Arts and Humanities Blend coffee, which made its debut at the County Executive’s Ball, will be sold in Mayorga retail locations and will include AHCMC branding on the bags. Fifteen percent of the proceeds from this special blend will be donated to the AHCMC, a local 501 (c) 3.
  • AHCMC is the first cultural agency in the County and region to have its own “official coffee.” Mayorga coffee will be served at all AHCMC functions including the County Executive’s Ball. As a Main Course ($5,500) Sponsor for the Ball, Mayorga not only provided all the coffee served at this year’s Ball, but sent guests home with coffee samples as well.
  • The Mayorga-AHCMC partnership is the first of its kind in the history of AHCMC. While AHCMC has a long history of collaborating with other nonprofits and social service agencies, this partnership with Mayorga heralds a new and more entrepreneurial phase for the 33-year-old agency.

“At the Arts and Humanities Council, we believe that creative partnerships between business and culture can spur marketable innovation which drives prosperity. This pivotal alliance with Mayorga will furnish both of our organizations with just such an opportunity,” says Suzan Jenkins, CEO of the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County.

“Any opportunity for us to live out part of our mission is exciting,” adds Martin Mayorga, President of Mayorga Coffee. “This opportunity is especially exciting because we have developed a program that will allow us to generate financial support for the Arts & Humanities Council by doing what we do best.”

“It is our collective goal,” continues Jenkins, “that this alliance will serve as a beacon to both the nonprofit arts and humanities community and the for-profit business community that both can achieve their bottom line goals by coming together to foster innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship.”
