To stay productive and efficient in today’s highly competitive environment, it is imperative that arts and humanities organizations and individual artists manage and use available resources strategically. With increasing amounts of information being conveyed through electronic media, it seems that everything -- from public relations and marketing to scheduling, resource and database management -- has gone the way of the internet. What can you do to stay viable? The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) can help!
In support of our arts and humanities community, AHCMC announces our Information Technology (IT) Training Professional Development Series which addresses the express needs cited by survey respondents of AHCMC’s Winter and Summer 2009 IT Surveys. Designed for the staff of arts and humanities organizations, individual artists, scholars or anyone seeking to improve their IT skills, the IT Professional Development Series, being offered in collaboration with the Information Technology Institute at Montgomery College, will help you learn how to harness technology to increase your bottom line.
Training locations are at the Montgomery College Takoma/Silver Spring and Rockville Campuses. Classes will be offered on the PC/Windows platform but all skills are applicable to the MAC platform.

All course textbooks are included in the registration fee. Textbooks will be dispurse at the first class meeting.

*Class sizes are limited to 16 students so register early!
*A Minimum registration of 10 is required to proceed with each training class.
