On December 5, 2010, hundreds of Montgomery County’s civic, business and cultural leaders gathered at the Hilton Rockville Atrium for Steppin' Out!, the 25th annual Montgomery County Executive’s Ball for the Benefit of the Arts and Humanities. Dancing, an appetizing spread of food, conversation and a big band -- it was a night to remember!

Founded in 1985 by Mrs. Betty Mae Kramer, wife of former County Executive Sidney Kramer, the Executive’s Ball is the only event that gives Montgomery County residents the opportunity to aid a variety of non-profit arts and humanities organizations with just one easy gift. Net proceeds from the Executive’s Ball support these organizations in Montgomery County, enabling the presentation of high quality theater, music, dance, visual arts, arts education and humanities programs. Over the past 24 years, the Executive’s Ball has raised over 1 million dollars for these programs.
