Months before 2011′s momentous uprising in Egypt, many talked of a revolution – but no one knew when that day would come. This is the story behind the story of Arab Spring. This film showcases passionate democracy activists who toiled for years before seeing success from their sacrifice. Following the screening, filmmaker Lillie Paquette will participate in a Q&A. This screening is co-sponsored by Docs In Progress and We Are Takoma and is supported by the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County and the Maryland Humanities Council. Free.
