AHCMC coordinates six signature events each year:
- Magical Montgomery Festival: A Celebration of Arts and Heritage
- Montgomery County Executive's Awards for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities
- Poetry Out Loud competition for Montgomery County High School Students
- The Fran Abrams Creative Writing Award Award
- The Ida F. Haimovicz Visual Arts Award Reception and Exhibition
