Accessibility

The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) does not discriminate against any person on the basis of any characteristic described in Section 27-1(a) of Chapter 27 of the Montgomery County Code or on the basis of political opinion or affiliation in any of its policies, procedures or practices and prides itself on maintaining a facility that is accessible to all.

The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that promotes, supports and empowers cultural organizations, artists and scholars in Montgomery County and is Montgomery County’s designated local arts agency. The Arts and Humanities Council expects its grantees to comply with all ADA requirements and provides the NEA’s Arts and Humanities Accessibility Checklist to our grantees to facilitate compliance.

While the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County not a “presenter”, per se, and we do not operate a public presenting facility, from time to time AHCMC may host programs such as workshops and lectures off site. If you need accommodation to participate in offsite programs produced by the Arts and Humanities Council, please contact Shellie Williams by email at firstname.lastname@creativemoco.com or call 301-565-3805 two weeks in advance of our program. TTY users, please contact us via Maryland Relay.
